Scholarship Application Form

All applications must be submitted by Sunday, May 26, 2024 at 5pm PST.
Winning Applicants will be notified no later than Friday, June 14, 2024 by 5pm PST.
ONE $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to graduating high school seniors that meet the minimum requirements below. The Valley Girls and Guys scholarship review board will review all complete applications submitted by the deadline above. All efforts are made to keep anonymity during this review process so that all applications are evaluated equally.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA (a copy of your transcript will need to be uploaded to the application).
  • Applicants must be graduating from a high school in Washington State
  • Applicants must have had a personal diagnosis or a direct family member (parent, sibling, grandparent, aunt/uncle) who received a cancer diagnosis.
  • Applicants will be submitted a 500 – 1,000 word essay on how cancer has impacted YOUR life, future career endeavors, life lessons, etc. The prompt is intentionally left open around this topic for you to share your experience with the scholarship review board.
